Location
Newark is a historic market town in Nottinghamshire, well known for its castle and riverside setting on the River Trent. It benefits from excellent road and rail links, with Nottingham around 35 minutes by car, Lincoln around 40 minutes, and Grantham around 20 minutes, making it an easy commute from a wide catchment area.

- Large, highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physio and GP Assistants

Your Role
- 4 sessions per week, with scope to increase in future – ideally Wednesday + Friday
- 10 – 15-minute appointments, averaging 12.5 minutes
- Duty doctor capped at 25 patients per day, roughly one day in six
- Minimal home visits, with most acute visits handled by another service
- Strong admin and GP Assistant support to reduce routine workload
- Newly qualified GPs welcome to apply
Salary And Benefits
- £11,000 to £12,000 per session (depending on experience)
- Professional fees covered
- NHS Pension
- 6 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays
- 1 week’s study leave, pro rata
- BMA model contract
- Career progression, including potential partnership opportunities
You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
