GP Vacancy – Salaried Role (4-8 Sessions per Week) | Workington
About the Role
A forward-thinking GP practice in Workington is seeking an additional GP to join their supportive and dynamic team.
The practice offers flexible session arrangements, with a preference for Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday working days. They act as an accredited Training Practice, frequently hosting a GP registrar and featuring a specialist Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) including:
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
- Paramedics
- Pharmacists
- Practice Nurses
The workload is structured to maintain balance, with 15-minute face-to-face appointments, averaging circa 32 patients per day.
This is a full-time or part-time salaried GP role, with the potential for progression to a Lead GP responsibility (including increased sessional pay).
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £9,500–£12,500 per session (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Work 4–8 sessions per week
- 15-minute patient consultations
- Manage circa 32 patients daily

Requirements
- Current GMC registration
- Qualified and fully registered General Practitioner
