oast Health is delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and conscientious GP within our busy semi-rural practice. Salaried preferred but also long-term locum if that suits you best.
Working days: preferably Mondays and Tuesdays but can be flexible.
We offer a unique form of general practice, based over two buildings (Pittenweem and Elie) in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. Based in a small community, we deliver care for a stable practice population; this creates strong relationships with patients and their families and remains a highly rewarding aspect of the job.
Fantastic beaches, scenery and recreational activities including water sports and cycling adorn our doorstep. Vibrant local arts community and we are within 10 miles of the historic golf town of St. Andrews. Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy and Ninewells Hospital in Dundee are also within easy reach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
