About the Role

In today’s climate of global uncertainty, volatility, and risk, Commercial and Procurement (C&P) functions have never been more critical to organisational strategy. Third-party relationships are being redefined, especially in the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) sector, where rapid innovation, evolving supplier ecosystems, and tightening regulatory oversight demand fresh approaches.

EY’s Business Consulting team is expanding its Commercial & Procurement (C&P) capabilities to help businesses transform their strategies and operations. Our talent is working with leading companies to deliver value, resilience, and efficiency in procurement and commercial—key levers to navigate this digital-first era.

We are seeking a Salaried Partner-level consultant with deep functional and sector expertise to:

  • Shape, sell, and deliver procurement transformation and commercial advisory solutions within TMT.
  • Collaborate with EY’s global network of industry specialists, tackling challenges such as supplier risk, cost optimisation, digital procurement, and strategic sourcing.
  • Guide businesses through transformation at scale, ensuring competitive agility in an ever-evolving market.

Key Focus Areas in This Role

As a core part of EY’s Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) practice, your work will revolve around empowering Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) and C-suite leaders to solve their most pressing commercial challenges. This role is ideal for those eager to deepen expertise in TMT procurement, where high-growth opportunities exist across:

  • Procurement strategy and operating model design
  • Commercial excellence and supplier innovation
  • Cost optimisation and spend management
  • Sustainable and responsible sourcing
  • Technology-enabled procurement transformation

In addition, you’ll leverage EY’s cross-offering collaboration to develop market-leading innovations, such as:

  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics
  • Internet of Things (IoT) for smarter procurement
  • Next-gen Source-to-Pay (S2P) technologies

You will also drive business development—originating deals, leading proposals, pitching new work, and shaping EY’s TMT procurement practice strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
