Salaried Partner – Commercial & Procurement Transformation within TMT Sector
Location: London
The Opportunity
Commercial and Procurement (C&P) are now at the forefront of organisational strategy, as businesses adapt to unprecedented global challenges. EY’s Business Consulting team is expanding its capabilities to help organisations in the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) sector optimise procurement, commercial strategies, and operational resilience in a rapidly evolving landscape. With increasing focus on innovation, regulatory scrutiny, and evolving supplier ecosystems, we support clients in shaping their procurement function for a digital-first, competitive future.
EY is seeking a Strategic Salaried Partner to drive procurement and commercial strategy transformations in the TMT sector. This role empowers clients to address challenges such as supplier risk, cost optimisation, digital procurement, and strategic sourcing. Leverage EY’s global network, including industry and functional experts, to deliver high-impact solutions across:
- Procurement strategy and operating model design
- Commercial excellence and supplier innovation
- Cost optimisation and spend management
- Sustainable, responsible sourcing
- Technology-enabled procurement transformation

Key Responsibilities
Developing Our People
- Contribute to strategic leadership in Commercial & Procurement and TMT sectors.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior consultants, as well as influence career pathways.
- Foster diverse, high-performing teams, ensuring an inclusive environment for clients and employees.
Developing Our Business
- Lead custom solutions design for complex client challenges within TMT.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to executives.
- Engage thought leadership in emerging TMT trends (regulatory compliance, sustainability, cost efficiency).
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand client networks and refine EY’s procurement offering.
- Stay current with ERP & Digital Solutions across the procurement lifecycle, particularly Source-to-Payment.
Supporting Our Clients
- Establish trusted advisor status within TMT companies, managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Utilise EY’s global network for client-facing delivery, applying sector expertise and tech-driven insights.
- Leverage SAP Ariba, Oracle, AI tools, and workflow automation to modernise procurement processes.
- Engage stakeholders in strategic procurement dialogues, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The Fit for You
Essential Qualifications
- Proven career in management consulting or large-scale procurement transformation in global industry.
- Deep expertise in TMT, specializing in telecom infrastructure, handsets, CPE, software, data, and IT procurement.
- Robust business development & sales pipeline management record, converting leads into revenue.
- Extensive experience in leading cross-functional procurement transformations or cost-saving programs.
- Expertise in client relationships and strategy-tuning at senior operational levels.
