Philip Morris International

Philip Morris is seeking 20 recent college graduates and early-career candidates for the position of Field Sales Executive.

Summary of the Opportunity This is an exciting private company proposal of a dynamic, field-based Field Sales Executive role focused exclusively on market leadership and guiding retail partners in the United Kingdom’s new tastes and applications in smoke-free products.

About the Role

We’re looking for driven individuals early in their careers who are passionate about pitching products, meeting retailers, and growing sales territory independently. While a background in sales or a customer-facing role is advantageous, this is not mandatory. What we value most is:

  • Passion for sales and commerce-related fields
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation, proactiveness, and a results-driven mindset
  • Energy, ability to work independently, and adaptability
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring a new industry

As a Field Sales Executive, you’ll build strong lasting relationships with retailers—including vape shops and multi-site retailers—educate them about our leading smoke-free products, and support in-store promotions to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

Key tasks include:

  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships in assigned territories
  • Demonstrate expertise in enticing retail partners to try and stock our new product range
  • Lead in-store product training sessions and product activations
  • Identify growth opportunities and deliver continuous sales performance
  • Collaborate with your team to develop sales strategies and actionable plans
  • Feedback retailer insights to the business to inform future development

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
