Sales Account Executive - New Business (Microsoft Security)
Softwerx is growing rapidly - and we’re looking for a true new business hunter to join our team as a Sales Account Executive, focused on winning net-new midmarket customers for our secure365® Security Managed Services portfolio.
If you thrive on prospecting, building pipeline, and closing new logos - and want the backing of a dedicated BDR team and a high-demand security offering - this is your opportunity.

Your Role – Built for Hunters
This is a pure net-new business role.
Key Responsibilities
Own a new logo acquisition target and consistently deliver against it Work closely with the Marketing team to execute on strategy Work closely with a BDR team to convert outbound activity into qualified opportunities Drive your own pipeline creation alongside BDR-generated opportunities Lead the full sales cycle - from first conversation through to close Target midmarket organisations across defined sectors Build strong, value-led propositions around Microsoft security and managed services

What You’ll Bring
Essential Experience
3+ years success in new business / hunter sales roles Proven ability to win net-new logos consistently Strong track record of pipeline generation and deal closure Highly proactive comfortable driving activity alongside BDR support Resilient, persistent, and motivated by targets and commission Experience owning the full sales cycle
Preferred Experience
Experience in cybersecurity, MSP, or SaaS sales Exposure to Microsoft Security, cloud, or managed services Experience working with BDRs or SDRs in a structured sales environment Understanding of Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS)
