Role Overview

The Account Manager / Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing customer relationships. This role combines proactive sales, consultative account management, and partnership development to expand the company’s reach across individuals, businesses, and training providers.

You’ll act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring they find the right courses while maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities (B2B and B2C)
  • Conduct outbound sales (calls, email, LinkedIn outreach)
  • Convert inbound leads into paying customers
  • Promote the full portfolio of online courses and training solutions
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Act as the main contact for customer inquiries and support
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Client Consultation

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable courses
  • Provide tailored solutions for businesses and individuals
  • Deliver product demos or walkthroughs where needed

Partnership Development

  • Develop relationships with training providers and affiliates
  • Negotiate deals and commercial terms
  • Expand strategic partnerships to grow course offerings

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting
  • Report on performance and market insights

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to close deals and meet targets
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar industry, selling courses, or training industry
  • B2B sales experience
  • Familiarity with digital marketing or lead generation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
