Position Summary
The Sales Account Executive will drive ticket sales and premium hospitality growth for a Premier League Football Club client, focusing on new business development, account management, and event execution. This includes:
- Selling VIP premium tickets across selected venues.
- Traveling to attend high-profile matches and events across the UK.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Building and sustaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), corporate clients, and sports enthusiasts while upholding professionalism and discretion.
Ideal candidates will thrive in a high-stakes, client-facing environment, where each interaction reflects the premium standards of elite sports hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Execute outbound sales strategies, including:
- Cold calling
- Virtual and in-person presentations
- Networking events
- Sell premium hospitality packages to:
- Individuals
- Businesses
- Community organisations
- Upsell and cross-sell existing clients by identifying revenue opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed assigned ticket sales and revenue targets.

Prospecting & Relationship Building
- Hit daily outreach targets using provided lead lists, while generating new leads through:
- Referrals
- Networking
- Social selling
- Community engagement
- Cultivate long-term client relationships via:
- Proactive communication
- Personalised service
- Data-driven value propositions
- Attend local events, games, and networking functions to strengthen engagement.
Client Service & Retention
- Provide best-in-class service to current and prospective clients, including:
- Prompt responses to inquiries
- Regular account check-ins
- Actively retain existing clients through consistent communication.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with marketing and events teams to design and execute:
- Group sales campaigns
- Promotional initiatives
- Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) for:
- Leads
- Prospects
- Sales activities
- Account updates
- Foster a competitive and collaborative culture by:
- Participating in meetings and trainings
- Contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives
Match Day & Event Execution
- Serve as a frontline representative on match days, handling:
- Client experiences
- Hospitality events
- Issue resolution
- Travel regionally across the UK for:
- Client venue visits
- Supporting key operations
- Providing in-person event services
- Assist with event-day logistics, ticketing, and operational needs.
Other Duties
- Stay updated on industry trends, team priorities, and local market dynamics.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in:
- Sports
- Entertainment
- Hospitality
- Proven expertise in:
- B2B sales
- Group sales
- Premium ticketing
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Travel occasionally for meetings or events.
Working Conditions
- Primary location: Manchester-based office (with frequent sports venue attendance).
- Travel: Minimal, but required for special events or client appointments.
- Schedule: Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak sports seasons and major events.
- Compensation:
- Annual salary: £35,000–£40,000
- + commission scheme
