Company Description
Nilos is regulated payment infrastructure for the institutions that move money in and out of emerging markets. We give licensed fintechs, remitters, PSPs and money service businesses what their banks will not: named USD, EUR and GBP accounts with third-party payments, sub-accounts for their own users, collection and payouts on local rails In Africa (NGN, KES, XOF, XAF), SWIFT payouts to 180+ countries and USDC/USDT settlement. Clients include billion-dollar payment companies from large remitters to the biggest trade commerce platforms.
The role, honestly
You inherit a named book of 500 to 1,000 key accounts in your territory: licensed financial institutions we have already identified, scored and tiered. Your job is to get every one of them to a decision. This is a hunter role built on craft.
Territory A · UK/Europe & Hong Kong
- Sell named USD, EUR virtual account (Hong Kong MSO), Africa collection and payout rails, and stablecoin top-ups.
- Buyers: EU/UK payment institutions and EMIs expanding into Africa, and Hong Kong MSOs moving USD for trade with the continent.
- Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong plus for the Hong Kong side.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Territory B · South Africa, East Africa and Francophone Africa
- Sell USD/EUR institutional accounts, two-way local-rail collection and payouts, SWIFT global payouts and stablecoin top-ups and payouts.
- Buyers: licensed PSPs, remitters, banks and fintechs across Southern and East Africa that need hard-currency accounts and cross-border delivery their local banking cannot provide.
- Existing network among African payment operators weighs more than years of experience.
Territory C · LATAM
Sell named EUR and USD accounts on European rails (SEPA Instant and SWIFT), third-party payments for LatAm institutions collecting from and paying into Europe and the US, and USDC/USDT settlement where local banking is the bottleneck.
Buyers: LatAm PSPs, VASPs and cross-border trade platforms in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina that need hard-currency accounts abroad, European collection, and stablecoin liquidity their correspondent banks cannot offer.
Spanish or Portuguese required; existing network among LatAm payment operators and crypto-fiat institutions is the differentiator.
