Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: Harrogate

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of an established customer base, nurture client relationships, manage renewals and identify opportunities to further develop accounts.

This role would suit a proactive and ambitious individual who thrives in a fast paced environment and is looking to further develop their career within a successful and forward thinking business.

Key Responsibilities Of Sales Account Manager

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through proactive account management and regular communication. Identify key stakeholders and decision makers within customer accounts to maximise business opportunities. Manage customer renewals, prepare quotations and oversee the sales process through to completion. Develop and grow existing accounts by identifying additional products and service opportunities. Maintain accurate and up to date customer records using internal CRM systems and databases. Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets and contribute to overall business growth. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates and reports for management. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction. Ensure all customer activity, renewals and opportunities are accurately tracked and managed. Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and new service offerings. Complete administrative tasks including order processing, reporting, and maintaining customer documentation.

Experience Required

Previous experience within a sales role. A confident and professional communicator with strong relationship building skills. Target driven with a proactive approach and a strong desire to achieve results. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of products, services and industry trends. Positive, enthusiastic and highly motivated with a professional approach to work.
