Sales Account Manager

Build relationships | Manage projects | Develop your career

We're looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our friendly, close-knit Utilities Connections team, helping customers with new gas, electricity and water connections from enquiry through to completion.

This is a relationship-led sales role, managing warm enquiries, preparing quotations and working closely with customers to deliver a professional service throughout their project.

Previous utilities experience is helpful but not essential. We'll provide full training – we're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is commercially minded, organised and confident managing multiple customer enquiries.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing warm inbound enquiries for gas, electricity and water connections
  • Preparing quotations with support from our technical planning team
  • Following up quotations and customer enquiries
  • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Acting as the main point of contact throughout each project
  • Managing your sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
