About Chronicle

Chronicle develops Workforce Management software used by hundreds of organisations across the UK. Our cloud-based platform helps businesses manage Time & Attendance, HR, Employee Self Service, Mobile Apps, Payroll Integration and Access Control.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a commercially driven Customer Success Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering software demonstrations and driving revenue growth, while helping customers maximise the value of their investment.

The Role

This is a proactive commercial role combining Customer Success, Account Management and consultative sales.

You'll take ownership of an existing portfolio of business customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention while identifying opportunities to expand accounts through additional software, services and hardware.

If you're looking to build your career in SaaS sales, this role offers an excellent pathway into a full Account Executive or New Business Sales position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing Chronicle customers, acting as their trusted commercial partner.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular phone calls, Microsoft Teams meetings and occasional on-site visits.
  • Conduct strategic account reviews to understand customer objectives, identify challenges and uncover commercial opportunities.
  • Deliver engaging software demonstrations showcasing additional Chronicle modules and solutions.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of expansion opportunities within your customer portfolio.
  • Drive recurring revenue growth through cross-selling, upselling and product upgrades.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial recommendations before negotiating and closing opportunities.
  • Manage software renewals and proactively reduce customer churn through effective relationship management.
  • Investigate customer requirements and recommend the most appropriate software, services or hardware solutions.
  • Work closely with Support, Projects and Development teams to ensure customers receive an outstanding experience.
  • Handle licence amendments, contract changes and commercial account requests.
  • Contact customers considering cancellation, understand the reasons behind their decision and implement retention strategies where appropriate.
  • Generate customer advocacy through testimonials, case studies, G2 and Trustpilot reviews.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, account plans and follow-up actions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
