Role description
At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to be based at our office in Warwick.
The Role:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing existing digital accounts. Tata Technologies delivers digital engineering and PLM programs to our manufacturing customer base. The Account Manager will seek to further develop relationships increasing Tata Technologies portfolio and winning new opportunities. The opportunity will suit an experienced sales leader who understands the digital systems used within manufacturing process across aerospace and automotive industries.
Area of Responsibility
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
- Own revenue growth targets
- Build and convert qualified pipeline (consulting → transformation → managed services)
- Lead early-stage deal shaping and budget creation conversations
- Drive large, complex pursuits (RFPs, proactive proposals, executive pitches)
Strategic Account Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs (CIO, CTO, VP Engineering, Manufacturing Heads)
- Expand wallet share by positioning digital across Engineering, IO, and Supply Chain
- Build long-term account plans aligned to client transformation priorities

Solution & Value Proposition Development
- Shape outcome-led digital propositions (digital thread, MBSE, cloud PLM, BOM transformation)
- Translate client challenges into business cases and value-led programs
- Partner with delivery and consulting teams to craft differentiated solutions
Executive Deal Shaping
- Lead solution positioning, commercial structuring, and pricing strategy
- Influence client budgets and funding decisions
- Drive executive-level storytelling and proposal governance
Ecosystem & Partner Management
- Leverage partner ecosystem and identify co-innovation opportunities
Internal Leadership
- Enable cross-BU collaboration (Engineering, Digital, Manufacturing, SAP)
- Build repeatable sales playbooks and GTM frameworks
Knowledge / Experience
Essential experience
- Proven track record of closing large deals (£5M–£50M+)
- Strong experience in digital Engineering / PLM / Engineering IT
- Understanding of Digital ecosystem: PLM–ERP–MES integration

- MBA or Masters in Sales / Marketing
