We're delighted to be partnering with a leading experiences and lifestyle business to recruit an ambitious Business Development & Account Manager to join their growing commercial team in Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding the company's presence across Manchester and the North West by building relationships with outstanding hospitality, leisure and experience-led businesses.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving commercial growth, with a clear opportunity to progress into a leadership role as the regional team expands.
This position is ideal for someone who is well connected across Manchester and the wider North West, with an established network within the hospitality, leisure or experiences sectors.
The Opportunity
Joining a high-performing commercial team, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while developing long-term partnerships with a portfolio of existing clients.
Initially, your focus will be on generating new business, re-establishing and growing the company's presence in the region, and building a strong pipeline of partner businesses. As your portfolio develops, your role will naturally evolve into a blend of account management and new business development, helping existing partners maximise value while continuing to identify new commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a pipeline of new business opportunities across Manchester and the North West.
- Build lasting relationships with owners, directors and senior decision-makers within hospitality, leisure and experience-led businesses.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts by identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Develop long-term partnership strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Research local markets and identify high-potential businesses and experiences.
- Maximise productivity by combining scheduled meetings with proactive business development activity.
- Negotiate commercial agreements that deliver value for both clients and the business.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales and performance targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, relationship-focused and passionate about developing new business.
You'll ideally have:
- A proven track record in business development, B2B sales or account management.
- Alternatively, strong transferable commercial experience within hospitality, leisure or the experiences sector.
- An established network across Manchester and the North West hospitality and leisure market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of hospitality operations and profitability.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as the role involves regular client visits. You'll be based in Manchester with occasional travel to the company's head office.
