Sales Account Manager in the North - Leisure Technology & Software Solutions
£40k basic + £30k OTE (£70k total earnings) + strong benefits
This is a remote role but we are looking for someone based in the North as you will be travelling to meet clients and potential clients from time to time
Our client is a well-established technology and software provider to the leisure sector, trusted by local authorities, leisure trusts, universities and community operators across the UK for over fifty years. They're looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to join their team, focused predominantly on managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts, alongside generating new business across the North.
This is very much an account management led role, with the majority of your focus on nurturing and growing revenue from existing customer relationships, and around a fifth on winning new business across the region. You'll be trusted with a portfolio of leisure operators, embedded in the day to day of how facilities run, and given the room to genuinely add value rather than just chase numbers. It's an ideal move for someone who enjoys building long term partnerships as much as closing a deal.
On offer is a strong package built around a £40k basic salary plus £30k OTE, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. The culture here is collaborative and grounded in genuine partnership, both with customers and colleagues, and there's real scope to grow as the business continues to invest in its people, its products and its AI and automation capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
