Channel Account Manager £28,000 + OTE (DOE) Hybrid | Stockport

About the Role

As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business and building a strong sales pipeline, while acting as the primary point of contact for our partner network. You’ll help partners grow revenue, identify new opportunities, and leverage Distology’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions effectively. You’ll work strategically with partners to understand their business goals, develop joint sales plans, and position solutions that accelerate mutual success. This role requires consultative account management, solution expertise, and strong relationship-building skills — ideal for someone who is proactive, growth-oriented, and passionate about enabling partner success.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities and proactively build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve growth objectives.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of channel partners, ensuring strong engagement and performance.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with partners to drive pipeline, revenue, and market share.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support on Distology’s products and services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within partner accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing insight on market trends, competitors, and strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Track and report on partner performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Represent Distology at partner events, webinars, and industry conferences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in driving new business and building a strong sales pipeline through channel or partner relationships.
  • Experience in channel or partner account management within technology or cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel sales strategies.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining senior-level relationships.
  • Experience in solution-based selling and consultative account management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics platforms.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and explain solutions.
