About the Role
Grow Flexcon’s position within the UK and Ireland territory by interacting and developing strong positive relationships at all levels with existing and new accounts. The role is split into two responsibilities.
- Taking over existing key accounts in the market to drive relevant account management activities (50%).
- Approaching and building a strong relationship with new customers and driving new business development activities to identify and win new business in the area (50%). This includes approaching, developing, winning, and managing new customers in the East European region.
Reporting directly to the Director Sales and Customer Service EMEA, the role is an exciting opportunity to drive and maximize sales values, volumes, and profitability in line with business growth targets.
Responsibilities
As Sales Account Manager UK and Ireland, you will:
- Be responsible for existing customers and key accounts in the UK and Ireland territory to maintain and grow profitable business and enhance our business relationship.
- Build up the future growth strategy for the UK and Ireland territory on how and where to grow the business in the short, mid, and long term.
- Develop territory prioritization and strategic plans to achieve revenue goals and expand FLEXcon’s portfolio within new markets and accounts.
- Drive profitable revenue growth to achieve and exceed growth targets.
- Approach and build strong relationships with new and existing customers by providing sound commercial and technical support.
- Responsible for quotations and price/contract negotiations.
- Ensure that business opportunities are identified, qualified, and appropriately followed up within the organization.
- Identify customer requirements in close collaboration with the technical team and thoroughly analyze customer needs to develop custom solutions.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to close stage.
- Create, maintain, and enhance account plans with customer insights and all relevant information.
- Provide sales forecasts, market data, and present business cases to senior management.
- Collect information from the market, customers, and competitors to adapt business strategies to a changing environment.
- Gain market know-how and help our technical team to develop the right products for the market.
- Work in cross-functional projects and closely collaborate with internal departments (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Technical, Customer Service, Product Managers, etc.).
- Work with your peers in other regions to share best practices, learnings, solve problems, and devise new initiatives and improvements.

Requirements
- University degree, ideally chemistry, engineering, or business administration.
- <5 years of sales and business development experience in a chemical company in an international environment.
- <2 years B2B sales experience in the pressure sensitive film, adhesive, or label business.
- Demonstrating a strong commercial mindset, e.g., respective qualifications or job experience in a commercial function.
- Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills with exceptional project management capability.
- Solid CRM and MS office knowledge.
- Strong communicator, able to pass clear and compelling messages.
- Fluent in English (written & verbal) is a must; other languages are a plus.
- Ready to travel and to work efficiently on a home office basis (around 50% travel activities).
