Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £56,000 per annum

Role Overview

M&A Forecourts Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Account Manager to lead and oversee its sales activities while developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and business partners.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and driving sustainable revenue growth. This role is central to our expansion and requires someone proactive who can identify new opportunities and grow existing accounts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new client prospects to expand the customer base.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales plans, setting realistic sales targets, and ensuring consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, conducting regular follow-ups, and gathering feedback on products, pricing, and service delivery.
  • Monitor, analyse, and interpret sales performance data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and grow key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms to maximise profitability while maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Monitor account performance, analyse sales trends, and proactively identify areas for improvement or upselling opportunities.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of sales growth strategies, account development, and client retention techniques.
  • Ability to identify revenue-generating opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue new business leads.
  • Proven ability to negotiate pricing, service agreements, and commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Skilled in analysing sales performance data, customer insights, and market trends to drive informed sales decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple accounts and meet targets independently.
  • Strategic and results-driven thinker with a proactive approach to achieving sales growth and strengthening client relationships.
