Sales Account Manager
Sales Account Manager | Aviation / Aerospace | Crawley, West Sussex
Are you an experienced Sales Account Manager with a background in aviation or aerospace looking to join a business where your contribution will make a real impact?
We're partnering with a rapidly growing aerospace organisation that specialises in aircraft components.
The Opportunity
As an Account Manager, you'll take ownership of an established portfolio of aviation customers, managing the full sales cycle while identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and maximise account performance.
Working closely with procurement, logistics, quality, and sales teams, you'll deliver commercially effective solutions within the aviation Used Serviceable Materials (USM) market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts
- Build strong, long-term relationships with aviation customers
- Drive revenue growth and improve account profitability
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts
- Manage enquiries through to order fulfilment
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals
- Work cross-functionally to ensure excellent customer service
- Maintain CRM records and provide accurate sales forecasting

About You
You'll bring:
- Current account management experience within the aviation/aerospace industry (essential)
- A proven track record of growing customer accounts and delivering commercial results
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with a focus on revenue and margin growth
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

📍 Location: Crawley, West Sussex
🕘 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (37.5 hours)
🏢 Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent | Office-based (5 days per week)
