Sales Administrator / Office Manager Maidenhead Job Type: Full time, permanent Salary: up to £45k per annum

About the Role

My client is looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator / Office Manager to join their office team in Maidenhead. This role would suit somebody who has worked within construction, hire/plant equipment, workshop environment within an SME business.

The role is varied, everyone in their business gets their sleeves rolled up from MD down, but this role combines office management, sales administration, personal assistant support, and marketing coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and keeping a business running smoothly.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales Team, you will be at the heart of the business, ensuring their office operates efficiently while providing exceptional administrative support across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure the day to day running of the office and everything operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide sales administration support to the sales team with order processing.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and sales documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and diaries for the Managing Director.
  • Provide PA support to the Managing Director, including correspondence and general administration.
  • Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, customer events and marketing activities.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage office supplies, facilities, and general administrative processes.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required.

Experience they require

You will need to be someone who enjoys variety, can take ownership and can confidently manage multiple priorities.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Office Manager, Executive Assistant, PA or similar role.
  • Worked within an SME with a construction, hire, plant/machinery, workshop or similar environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
  • A positive, flexible and professional attitude.
