Blueprint Subsea designs and manufactures specialist acoustic subsea sensors including multibeam and sidescan sonars, position tracking and navigation products. Our systems are trusted by customers worldwide across subsea, search & rescue and defence applications, where reliability and performance are critical.

As part of Aion Group, and together with our Italian sister company, SUEX, Blueprint Subsea is launching a new division called Dark Blue. Dark Blue will build on the heritage and technical expertise of Blueprint Subsea and SUEX, delivering reliable, effective and innovative underwater capability to defence, law enforcement and security operators.
Role Overview
Based in our UK office, you will support international sales activities for the Dark Blue division, working with teams across the UK, Italy and the USA. The role operates within a professional environment supporting defence and security customers, where confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail are important.
As a member of our sales support team, you will assist with day-to-day administration, customer communication and order processing activities, helping to ensure the efficient operation of the Dark Blue commercial team.

Role Purpose
To provide administrative and sales support to the Dark Blue division, assisting Key Account Managers and internal departments with customer enquiries, quotations, order processing and general sales administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Key Account Managers and internal teams, you will:
- Assist with customer enquiries and direct requests to the appropriate team members where required
- Prepare and issue quotations under the guidance of Key Account Managers
- Process sales orders accurately and maintain associated records
- Prepare sales documentation and customer correspondence
- Liaise with engineering and production teams on customer requirements and product lead times
- Maintain customer and opportunity records within the CRM system
- Assist with maintaining quotation and order records
- Provide pre and post-sale administrative support
- Support Key Account Managers across the UK, Italy and the USA
- Support the organisation of customer visits, product demonstrations and exhibitions
- Assist with development of the overseas representative network for Dark Blue
- Assist with the preparation of sales reports and administrative records
- Support export compliance processes and documentation where required

The role will be predominantly based in the UK office, however there may be occasions when you are requested to travel.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable with administrative work
- Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn
- Comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues across different departments
- Able to work accurately and reliably in a professional office environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office, with solid general IT skills
- Keen to learn about technical products, international customers and the defence sector
Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or sales support role would be beneficial but is not essential. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge of international sales, technical products and defence markets, with the potential to progress into more commercial or customer-facing roles in the future.
