Location: Cheltenham (office based)
Hours: 8.30am to 5pm (1-hour lunch)
Salary: £26,500 - £28,500 per annum, OTE £30,000 - £32,000

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Admin to join our Customer Service team in Cheltenham. This is a key role supporting our sales team with administration, customer relationship management, and soft sales follow-ups. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, following up on quotations, and supporting repeat business development with existing customers through professional and confident telephone communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain customer sales records in the CRM system
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations and ensure timely responses to customer enquiries
  • Make proactive, professional telephone calls to existing customers to follow up quotations and generate repeat business
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Assist with sales administration tasks including processing customer orders
  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information
  • Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail in all aspects of the role

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a sales administration or customer service role
  • Confident and professional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Comfortable making soft sales calls to follow up quotations and encourage repeat business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £26,500 - £28,500 per annum with On Target Earnings of £30,000 - £32,000 (based on team performance). Commission is earned through the success of the team, not individual targets.
