Sales Administrator

Location: Hagley Road, Birmingham

Starting Salary: £26,437 per year

Bonus: Up to £1,200 per year

We're looking for an organised and enthusiastic Sales Administrator to support our BT Local Business Sales team. In this role, you'll manage the sales order process from start to finish, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and completed successfully. You'll work closely with our internal sales team, BT, and customers to provide excellent service throughout the order journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check all sales orders for accuracy before processing.
  • Place customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Record orders on internal systems and logs.
  • Calculate revenue from sales.
  • Monitor and manage orders through to completion.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales team.
  • Answer sales-related calls and customer enquiries.
  • Assist with installation delays and escalations where required.
  • Carry out general administrative duties as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous order processing experience.
  • Telecommunications industry experience.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am – 5:30pm

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year's experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
  • Fluent English.
  • Ability to work in person from our Hagley Road, Birmingham office.
