Sales Administrator
Seeking a Sales Administrator for Beaumont Textiles
Based in Chorley, Lancashire
We are a well-established interior textiles business with a heritage spanning almost 80 years. Following significant investment and the introduction of new leadership, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and strong communicator to join our growing business at a pivotal time. This is a proactive, multi-functional administrative and customer service role. It focuses on supporting daily sales operations, managing customer relationships, and assisting with international sales and basic financial tasks. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop within a supportive and ambitious business. Key Responsibilities · Monitor mailboxes and handle general customer/sales enquiries · Answer incoming phone calls · Processing order confirmations · Liaise with other departments to resolve customer queries and fulfil requirements · Provide product information ie: pricing, availability, delivery updates and collection information · Arrange customer collections when needed · Maintain strong relationships with existing customers · Support International Sales, processing orders, raising invoices and arranging shipment · Work closely with the wider team to support the company’s continued growth plans · Update database and internal records as required · Release pro forma orders · Email customer invoices & statements · Assist with chasing of payment and arranging payment dates · Processing payments · Handling customer complaints relating to fabric orders, products, deliveries and service issues in a timely manner. · Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks and information requests. · Covering when staff shortage due to holidays, sickness or lunchtime. · Franking of mail and delivering mail to post box · Visiting the bank to make any cheque deposits · Any other administrative duties as required About You Have strong communication and relationship-building skills Confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude Have good attention to detail Ability to prioritise workload Comfortable working independently and as part of a team What We Offer Full product training and ongoing support The opportunity to join a growing business at an exciting stage of its journey Genuine career progression opportunities Working Hours – 37 hour week, Mon - Thurs 8.30am - 5pm Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm with 1 hr lunch each day
