Operations & Compliance Coordinator

Location - Peterborough (Hybrid)
Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity

Lanova Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing specialist finance brokerage to recruit an Operations & Compliance Coordinator for their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and ambitious business that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service and tailored finance solutions across the UK.

If you're highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career. This is a full-time hybrid position, based in Peterborough, with flexibility to work remotely part of the week.

The Role

You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring finance applications progress efficiently while maintaining high compliance standards and delivering an excellent experience for clients, lenders and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day processing of finance applications alongside the broker team.
  • Coordinate documentation between clients, lenders and internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.
  • Liaise with lenders and finance partners to progress applications through to completion.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance processes and maintain high standards of record keeping.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and internal processes.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support across the wider business.

About You

  • Previous experience in an operations, administration or coordination role.
  • Experience working within a compliance-focused environment, ensuring processes and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Previous experience working within an asset finance, commercial finance or finance brokerage environment is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
