About the Role
Do you have previous sales administration experience within transport, logistics or manufacturing environments? Are you looking for a busy, full-time role within a growing organisation?
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced administrator and customer service coordinator to join a well-established and growing international business based in Huddersfield.
This is a varied role combining customer service, logistics coordination and administration. As part of the Logistics & Customer Service team, you will be the first point of contact for customers, while supporting the Sales Managers and Purchasing Team to ensure orders are processed efficiently from receipt through to delivery and invoicing. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive first-class service, keeping them informed throughout the order process and responding promptly to enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders from initial entry through to final invoicing
- Coordinate shipments from national and international warehousing
- Update delivery schedules, shipping information and expected arrival times
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Support the Sales Managers and Purchasing Team with administrative tasks
- Use Sage 200 to manage orders and retrieve customer information
- Work closely with internal departments and external logistics providers to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Occasional travel to work out of other site locations

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a customer service and administrative role
- Excellent communication skills with a confident and friendly approach
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines while working as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Ideally, experience using Sage 200
- Full UK driving licence
