Job summary

Purpose of the role

As a part of the Sales Administration team, you act as a link between customers and Univar personnel. Customer needs drive your activities and you balance them with the interests of the company. Within the team, you will be reporting into the Sales Office Manager, Sales Admin Manager, or Sales Manager.

Responsibilities & duties

  • You support all sales activities pre- and after sales.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining customers in SAP where applicable.
  • To issue daily reports as requested by sales.
  • To create quotations in Q.
  • Provide price lists to the Sales personnel and Customers.
  • To be available during office hours (by mail, phone) for customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Communicate in a service-minded manner with customers and all internal functions and provide any necessary information to all shareholders.
  • Build strong, proactive relationships with customers to develop growth opportunities and ensure customer retention.
  • Take advantage of any opportunity to foster new business opportunities.
  • Use CRM and other tools as required and comply with all company processes, policies, and guidelines.
  • Support Sales team as required.

Qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Relevant previous experience in working in customer service with similar tasks (main responsibilities) or equivalent
  • Experience and understanding of working in an international environment is advantageous
  • Good knowledge in MS Office, knowledge in CRM tools, and SAP is an asset
  • Good skills in local language and fluent skills in English
  • You are service-minded, have excellent communication skills, and you are well-organized with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Business-oriented, high degree of ownership, pro-active, and reliable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
