Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Are you an organized and customer-focused professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to join our client's friendly team in Basildon.

This is a varied role that combines sales support, customer service, order processing, and administration. You'll play a vital part in ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to product delivery. If you enjoy building customer relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a close-knit team, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Sales Administrator, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Preparing and submitting quotations, pricing proposals, and tender documents
  • Progressing customer enquiries through to successful sales
  • Processing customer orders and managing them through to delivery
  • Coordinating deliveries and resolving customer queries efficiently
  • Maintaining regular contact with both new and existing customers via phone and email
  • Assisting with stock management and helping to maintain warehouse inventory levels
  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products
  • Supporting the receipt and organization of incoming shipments
  • Keeping up to date with product knowledge and company offerings
  • Following company policies and procedures at all times

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience within a busy sales office or sales administration environment
  • The ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong customer service focus
  • A confident, friendly, and proactive approach
  • Good administrative skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
