Sales Adviser – Ilfracombe (Jewson)
About the Role
Do you have a passion for working with people and are based in the Ilfracombe area?
Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is seeking a Sales Adviser to join their Ilfracombe branch. This role will focus on delivering exceptional in-store service and self-selection support.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop a deep understanding of our product lines and services—letting you deliver exceptional advice and solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Build strong, reciprocal relationships with customer both face-to-face and via telephone, proving proactive solutions for a seamless buying experience.
- Process customer orders and payments, manage delivery schedules, update accounts, and keep customers informed at every stage.
- Maintain the branch’s cleanliness and organisation to ensure a professional first impression for every visitor.
- Monitor and report stock levels, conducting regular counts to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with colleagues on operational improvements to enhance service and efficiency.
- Show flexibility by stepping in to support other areas of the business as required.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:00
- Every other Saturday morning: 08:00 – 12:00
- Flexibility on these hours is possible for the right candidate—more details may be discussed in interview.
