Role Description
The Sales Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Central London. In this role, the Sales Assistant supports customers throughout their in-store journey by offering guidance on product selection, styling, and brand identity. Daily tasks include:

The Sales Assistant also helps achieve sales targets by promoting collections, managing customer inquiries, and contributing to a positive team environment aligned with American Vintage’s values.
Qualifications
- Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build rapport and create a welcoming store experience.
- Effective Communication and Sales skills to explain product features, support purchase decisions, and contribute to sales goals.
- Solid Organization Skills to manage stock, maintain displays, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic numeracy and point-of-sale skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- A strong interest in fashion and styling, with the ability to represent the American Vintage brand image in-store.
- Reliability and flexibility, including availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- Previous retail or fashion sales experience is beneficial; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage in an international customer setting.
