This presents an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders, where the South West Division needs a Sales Advisor.
The Role
Reports to the Sales Manager, the Sales Advisor will handle all sales and customer service aspects of a development, ensuring:
- High-level service for customers.
- Achievement (or exceeding) of sales targets.
- Progressing reservations through contract exchange and legal completions.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving sales targets, as set by senior management.
- Liaise regularly with customers, solicitors, and financial advisors to ensure:
- Timely contract exchanges and legal completions.
- Customers’ needs are met post-completion (e.g., repairs or issues).
- Proactively collaborate with Sales Managers to suggest strategies that improve sales.
- Maintain the site’s appearance to the highest standards.
- Provide accurate product information to purchasers to help make better decisions.
- Guide customers through show homes, stock plots, and site, highlighting features and benefits.
- Ensure all visitors are aware of Bellway’s Health and Safety Policy, with company representation at all times.
- Manage Bellway’s CRM system, maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate customer meetings with the Site Manager in a timely manner.
- Attend weekly Sales/Site Meetings, documenting action points and following through.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, processes, and standards.

Experience and Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the housebuilding industry.
- Proven customer service excellence in roles where direct client interaction is key.
- Exposure to confidential and sensitive information.
- Understanding of property sales and the marketing/customer journey.
- Experience in customer-facing environments, including home visits.
- Relationship-building skills with other property professionals and external agencies needs.

Required Qualifications and Training
- Full and valid UK driving licence.
- Access to a company-use vehicle as required.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of the home buying/conveyancing process.
- Ability to use initiative, prioritise, organise, and meet targets.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of new software systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent communicator across stakeholders.

Working Conditions
- Primarily site-based with regular travel to division offices.
- Flexible hours and working patterns, including weekends and evenings as required.
