Job Description
Position: Part time sales advisor (4 hours per week)
Location: Samsonite Store, Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks, Unit 8 Kinsey Rd, Ellesmere Port CH65 9JJ
Availability: ASAP
Job Purpose
As a Sales Advisor at Samsonite, you will be the face of a globally recognized brand known for innovation, durability, and style in travel solutions. Your role is to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and embody the Samsonite brand values in every customer interaction.
Accountabilities
Customer Service
- Identify customer travel needs and recommend Samsonite products that best suit their lifestyle.
- Provide accurate information about product features, warranties, and after-sales services.
- Apply the Smiles Selling Standards and follow Samsonite’s customer engagement process.
- Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat purchases through personalized service.
- Deliver inspiring service that reflects Samsonite’s commitment to excellence.

Store Performance & Analysis
- Stay informed of all store communications and brand updates.
- Understand store budgets, targets, and KPIs.
- Share insights and feedback that contribute to Samsonite’s retail success.
Stock Management
- Ensure accurate pricing and premium presentation of Samsonite products.
- Follow procedures for stock control.
- Minimize losses and support shrinkage goals.
Operations
- Adhere to Samsonite’s operational policies (e.g., cash handling, health & safety).
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain store cleanliness and a welcoming environment aligned with Samsonite’s brand image.
- Perform duties as requested by the Store Manager.
- Help keeping environmental policies in line with Green Mark.

Merchandising, Marketing & Promotions
- Maintain visual merchandising and window displays to Samsonite’s global standards.
- Stay informed about current promotions and marketing campaigns.
Communication
- Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team members.
- Share market trends and customer feedback with the Store Manager.
- Follow Samsonite’s dress code and grooming standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Samsonite.
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Store Manager.
Skills Required
- Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 15kg, and use ladders.
- Computer literacy.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in premium or travel goods.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Sales-oriented mindset.
- Passion for travel and brand sensibility.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
