Grant Engineering UK, are looking to recruit a Sales Advisor to join the Internal Sales team in Swindon. This role, acts as a bridge, liaising with customers, external sales staff, and various departments within the company. Dealing with orders from first enquiry through to delivery of products and working closely with purchasing and warehousing department to ensure the efficient delivery of our products.

Main Duties Include

  • Processing all new and established sales orders from stockists and feeders
  • Being first point of contact for sales support enquiries received into the business by telephone and email. Providing an outstanding customer experience in all interactions
  • Managing the return and credit of products in line with our returns policy
  • Resolving invoice queries and disputes
  • Maximising opportunities to upsell
  • Effective relationship management with our external sales team
  • Building relationships with all merchants and installers within a designated sales area

Skills Required

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent literacy and maths
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as under your own initiative
  • Computer literate – Excel and Word experience are essential, Sage is preferable
  • Good problem solver
  • Ability to grasp a good level of technical detail
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and a natural flair for delivering an excellent customer experience

This is a full-time permanent role with a 39.5 hour working week. Office hours are flexible but are made up of 8 hour days and 7.5 hours on Fridays. Over time a hybrid arrangement can be facilitated.
