Sales Advisor – ProCook | Truro Store

ProCook is on the lookout for a passionate Sales Advisor to join our welcoming and dynamic team! At ProCook, we believe great cooking starts with the right tools—and the right people. This is a customer-centric sales opportunity with structured training, clear performance metrics, and the chance to earn bonuses based on achievable targets. Our 12-hour-per-week permanent contract offers flexible scheduling (including weekend shifts) to support a sustainable work-life balance.


Your Role

As a ProCook Sales Advisor, you’ll be the friendly expert guiding customers to their perfect products. Your key duties include:

  • Engaging customers with confidence and warmth, ensuring they leave satisfied and inspired.
  • Sharing expert product knowledge to help customers make informed, confident purchasing decisions.
  • Creating an inviting shopping experience by maintaining a clean, well-organised store environment.
  • Processing transactions accurately while representing ProCook’s brand ethos.
  • Training and development through structured onboarding and ongoing coaching.

Working Flexibility: Expect to work 3 x 4-hour shifts per week across selected days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday), typically between 9:30–17:30, with possible overtime for cover. Holiday/sickness shifts may arise per rota.

Requirements

We’re seeking a motivated, adaptable individual who enjoys the following:

  • Customer focus: Comfortable talking, listening, and adapting to diverse customer preferences.
  • Retail or customer service experience (proven success in a sales environment welcomed).
  • Strong communication skills—verbal and interpersonal are key.
  • A keen interest in professional kitchenware and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work weekends/peaks as per rota needs.
  • Self-reliance to assembly targets while maintaining excellent service standards.

Previous retail experience is advantageous—not essential but highly regarded!
