Sales Advisor – Public Sector Solutions
About the Role
Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in delivering solutions and building materials to the Public Sector, including Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is searching for an enthusiastic Sales Advisor who shares its commitment to exceptional service and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Order fulfilment & logistics:
- Pick, prepare, and pack orders for delivery
- Load/unload deliveries using a Forklift Truck (training provided)
- Drive a 3.5-tonne van to collect and deliver customer orders (full UK driving licence is essential)

Customer engagement & advisory:
- Welcome customers, take an active interest in their projects
- Deepen knowledge of product lines to offer expert advice
- Maximise every customer interaction to deliver Jewson Values

Stock & site management:
- Check incoming deliveries for damaged/missing products
- Maintain stock levels in stores and yard areas
- Conduct regular stock counts
- Keep the branch clean, tidy, and welcoming

Health & Safety (H&S) compliance:
- Prioritise safety, ensuring workplace wellbeing for yourself and others
Desired Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or material supply role (preferred but not essential)
- Exceptional communication & consultative skills
- Confident working indoors & outdoors with a strong H&S awareness
- Ability to handle manual handling of heavy materials
- A confident driver (must hold a full UK licence for a 3.5-tonne van)
