Sales Advisor

Our Role

As a Sales Advisor, you play an important role in delivering the day-to-day customer experience in store. You bring our products and brand to life through warm service, genuine conversations, and attention to detail, helping customers feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their choices.

This role is about building strong foundations in customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork, while developing confidence and consistency in everything you do.

What you'll be doing

Customer and Brand Experience

  • Welcome customers warmly and help them feel comfortable in store.
  • Listen carefully to customer needs and offer thoughtful, informed product advice.
  • Deliver service that reflects The White Company values and premium standards.
  • Support customers across in-store, online, and phone enquiries where required.
  • Share product knowledge in a simple, helpful way to support customer choices.
  • Represent The White Company brand through your behaviour, tone, and service
  • Encourage customer relationships and data capture as part of everyday service, with guidance.
  • Go the extra mile when possible so customers leave feeling happy and valued.

People and Culture: Being a Team Player

  • Work positively with colleagues, supporting the team during busy periods.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Be open to learning through feedback, training, and day-to-day experience.
  • Follow agreed routines and ways of working to support consistency across the team.
  • Take pride in representing The White Company values and behaviours.
  • Contribute to a friendly, inclusive, and supportive team environment.

Store Operations: Supporting the Store

  • Complete daily tasks accurately and on time, following clear guidance.
  • Follow cash handling, security, and Health & Safety procedures confidently.
  • Take care of products and fixtures to reflect brand standards.
  • Support replenishment, housekeeping, and stock tasks as directed.
  • Balance completing tasks with maintaining a calm, attentive customer experience.
  • Report any issues, risks, or concerns promptly to a Supervisor or Manager.

About You

  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking to customers.
  • Reliable, organised, and happy to follow clear processes.
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Retail experience is helpful but not essential — attitude and enthusiasm matter most.
