Sales Advisor (Customer Experience) – Critical Role

As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be instrumental in guiding potential Tesla customers through their journey toward vehicle ownership. With deep expertise in Tesla’s products and mission, you’ll engage prospects by sharing the unique benefits of owning a Tesla—from eco-friendliness and cutting-edge technology to cost savings in charging and maintenance.

You’ll thrive on achievable targets while embodying Tesla’s culture of determination, collaboration, and innovation. Success hinges on your mission-driven mindset, flexibility, and ability to forge strong, one-team relationships across the sales and delivery process.

What You’ll Do

  • Become a Tesla expert: Deeply understand the full range of Tesla vehicles and continuously stay informed about new developments.
  • Uncover and address customer needs: Engage actively with prospects, probing uncertainties and offering personalised solutions.
  • Educate and inspire: Clearly articulate Tesla’s value—such as charging efficiency, environmental impact, and driving innovation—to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Guide through ownership: Lead customers from inquiry to delivery, including financing options, trade-ins, and delivery logistics.
  • Exceed expectations: Foster long-term relationships by resolving concerns proactively, ensuring seamless processes, and delivering a transparent, customer-centric experience.
  • Hit targets: Consistently meet (or exceed) sales numbers while maintaining performance accountability.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with other advisors, finance, admin, production, and delivery teams to create a smooth customer journey.

General Duties

  • Maintain flexibility to adapt tasks as team priorities evolve.
  • Document accurately: Input customer interactions and progress into our internal systems to ensure seamless follow-up.
  • Share best practices: Benchmark high-performance strategies across other Tesla locations or teams.
  • Upsell the ecosystem: Detail all Tesla services, from Supercharger perks to Energy products, ensuring customers visualise the full value.
  • Administer sales processes: Complete contracts and financial agreements in alignment with Tesla’s policies, liaising with stakeholders for prompt execution.
  • Support wider business goals: Take ownership of any additional responsibilities as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tesla passion: Deep belief in our mission and products, manifested through enthusiasm and advocacy.

  • Driving eligibility: Valid license held for over 2 years; vehicles provided on customer duty if required.

Note: This position is critical to Tesla’s growth and requires a 3-month (minimum) commitment from new recruits.
