Sales Advisor
Sales Advisor – Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS)

About the Role
Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is looking for a passionate Sales Advisor to join our team, delivering top-tier customer service, order fulfilment, and operational excellence.
This role offers:

Working hours: 7.30 AM – 4.30 PM, Monday to Friday
Essential requirement: Full UK driving licence (van delivery is part of the role, requiring occasional use of a 3.5-tonne van).
Key Responsibilities

Order fulfilment & delivery:
- Picking, preparing, and dispatching customer orders
- Delivering materials to customer properties on time and safely
- Ensuring orders meet quality and service standards

Customer interaction:
- Welcoming customers and taking an active interest in their projects
- Providing product expertise and promoting Jewson’s value-added solutions
- Adhering to Jewson Values in all customer engagements

Stock & operational duties:
- Loading/unloading vehicles (using forklift training provided) to minimise manual handling
- Checking incoming deliveries and reporting missing or damaged products
- Maintaining stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts
- Keeping branch premises clean, organised, and customer-focused

Forklift & manual handling:
- Safe operation of forklift trucks (training provided) to assist with product movement
- Managing bulk materials with increased manual handling attention

Health & Safety champion:
- Prioritising H&S compliance on a daily basis
- Ensuring colleague and customer safety in all processes

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred but not essential: Previous experience in retail, logistics, customer service, or construction Supply Chain

Essential:
- Stellar communication & customer service skills – ensuring positive interactions
- Strong confidence indoors and outdoors, with adaptability to varied conditions
- Focus on Health & Safety compliance
- Ability to handle bulky or heavy materials safely

Crucial:
- Full UK manual driving licence (preferred for efficient van-based operations)
