Sales Advisor – New Homes
Location: Newton Mearns & surrounding areas (within 45 minutes’ travel)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive DOE + uncapped commission (OTE £50k+)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join a well-established and fast-growing housebuilder in the West of Scotland.
This is a fantastic time to join a busy and successful region with multiple new developments launching over the coming months. You’ll play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer journey — from initial enquiry through to legal completion — while achieving sales targets and representing the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
The ideal candidate will have experience in new homes sales. What matters most is attitude, energy, and a genuine passion for helping customers find their perfect new home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the sales complex.
- Achieve and exceed reservation and completion targets.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the buying journey.
- Guide potential purchasers around show homes and stock plots, providing detailed information about the development and available incentives.
- Liaise closely with purchasers, solicitors, mortgage advisors, and site teams to ensure a smooth process from reservation to completion.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and contribute ideas to drive performance.
- Support colleagues and cover other developments when required.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a face-to-face sales environment (new homes, estate agency, retail, or travel experience all considered).
- Confident, proactive, and highly organised.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- IT literate with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, reliable, and customer-focused.
Training & Development
Comprehensive training is provided, typically lasting 6–12 weeks depending on experience. You’ll be paired with an experienced Sales Advisor, gaining exposure to multiple developments and learning best practices. Progression is encouraged, with a clear track record of internal promotions within the team.
Working Pattern
- Thursday: 10am to 7pm
- Friday & Monday: 10am to 5pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 11am to 5pm
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: Competitive DOE
- Uncapped Commission: 0.2% of net selling price (50% on missive, 50% on completion)
- Additional Bonuses:
- £75 for preferred mortgage advisor referrals
- £50 for express mover scheme
- 5% commission on customer extras
- Mileage Allowance: 14–15p per mile (engine dependent, door-to-door)
- Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (option to buy additional days after qualifying period)
- Benefits: Pension, private healthcare, life assurance, and other company perks

You’ll be joining a dynamic, supportive sales team of 20+ advisors across the region. The culture is friendly and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on attitude, professionalism, and equal opportunity.
