Job Introduction

Since 1886, Whittard of Chelsea has been delighting customers with exceptional tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. In our London stores, we don’t just serve drinks - we create moments of discovery and delight, even during the busiest day.

We’re looking for a Retail Sales Advisor to join one of our vibrant, high-footfall London locations. If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, love a challenge, and are passionate about exceptional service, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, key trading days, and during our opening period. We require availability of a minimum of 4 days, Friday to Monday.

A Day in the Life of a Whittard Sales Advisor

In a busy London store, no two moments are the same. You’ll serve customers from around the world, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver confident, high-quality service with a calm and collected approach - even when it’s three deep at the till.

You’ll Be

  • Customer-Obsessed: Whether it’s a rushed commuter or a curious tourist, you’ll quickly connect with every customer, offering tastings, tailored advice, and a standout experience under pressure.
  • Sales-Savvy: You’ll confidently guide customers through our range, suggesting pairings and bundles that elevate their visit and increase basket size.
  • Resilient & Responsive: You’ll stay focused and adaptable during high-traffic times, knowing how to balance tills, restocks, and sampling with a sense of urgency and care.
  • A True Team Player: You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a close-knit team, keeping communication clear, energy high, and standards exceptional throughout your shift.
  • Operationally Efficient: From slick stock replenishment to sharp visual standards, you’ll help ensure the store looks great and runs like clockwork.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
