Sales Advisor – M&S Opticians
About the Role
As a Sales Advisor at M&S Opticians, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality eye and hearing care services while promoting our offerings within the wider M&S store.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Optimising sales opportunities
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Managing stock levels
- Providing exceptional customer service
You will assist patients in selecting the right eyewear, educate them on care and maintenance, and ensure a seamless experience. With a strong retail background and excellent communication skills, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, making a meaningful impact on our customers’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote optical and hearing services within the store to drive appointments
- Maintain accurate customer records and manage stock levels
- Provide outstanding customer service and handle enquiries professionally
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses suited to their needs and lifestyle
- Perform basic adjustments and repairs
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Support the fitting and dispensing of contact lenses
- Conduct preliminary pre-tests and measurements
- Work towards achieving store sales targets
- Support marketing initiatives and special events

You are a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional with a passion for helping others. Ideal candidates will:

Key Requirements

- Previous optical or healthcare experience is a plus but not required
