Sales & Customer Service Coordinator

IBRAN, Hamilton Industrial Estate, Leicester

We make recycled-plastic ground reinforcement, drainage, and modular construction products, and we sell them to builders' merchants and the trade across the UK and, increasingly, Europe. We're a manufacturer on the up: growing, expanding into new markets, and building a team that can grow with us. This is a chance to get in at the right time.

We're looking for someone to join our service desk and become the engine room of our customer experience and our outbound growth. It's a genuine hybrid role, and we're upfront about that. Part of it is looking after the customers and orders that come to us. Part of it is going out and finding the next ones.

What you'll actually be doing

  • You'll work in tandem with our existing service team, sharing the desk so that customers are always looked after: taking inbound calls and orders, handling queries, sorting problems, keeping trade customers happy and coming back.
  • The lower-level sales you'll close yourself. The bigger opportunities you'll tee up and hand to our closer.
  • But this isn't only a reactive role. A protected part of your week is yours for prospecting: researching targets, opening conversations, warming up new merchant and trade relationships, and feeding qualified opportunities into our sales pipeline.
  • We structure the desk so that while one of you is on the phones, the other is free to prospect without interruption. The outbound time is ring-fenced and it matters. It's not the thing you do if you get a spare minute.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a builders' merchant, building products, or trade sales/service environment, so you understand trade customers and how they buy.
  • Someone equally comfortable looking after a customer on the phone and picking that phone up to chase a new one.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to juggle the reactive and the proactive without dropping either.
  • A self-starter on the prospecting side, comfortable opening cold-ish conversations, not just servicing warm ones.
  • Commercial instinct: knowing which opportunities to close yourself and which to pass up the chain.
  • Based within commuting distance of Leicester, as this is an office-based role at our Hamilton Industrial Estate HQ.
