Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity in the event and hospitality industry?

Do you want a job where no two days are the same?

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team, supporting the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events, including weddings, social gatherings, family fun days, craft fairs, meetings, and conferences.

This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and flexible approach, with involvement in all aspects of event planning, set-up, delivery, and operational support.

  • Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering events from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Duties will include conducting venue showrounds, hosting pre-event meetings, coordinating event set-up, and overseeing event delivery to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • You will liaise with multiple departments to ensure the smooth and successful execution of events, securing appropriate staffing resources and ensuring relevant training requirements are met.
  • Following each event, you will conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • In addition to event coordination responsibilities, you will play an active role in maintaining the day-to-day operation of the business to a high standard, including supporting room set-ups, assisting with event delivery, and serving catering packages where required.
  • The successful candidate will also support the Event and Sales Operations Manager by responding to client enquiries, identifying sales opportunities, and helping to maximise revenue.
  • You will provide reception cover during busy periods and play a key role in welcoming and assisting visitors to the venue, delivering outstanding customer service at all times.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
