Sales and Events Executive – Ettington Park Hotel & Spa

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 8BU

Salary: Starting at £14.52 per hour + service charge + excellence colleague benefits Job Type: Full-time | Temporary | 5 days out of 7 Working Pattern: 40 hours per week (rotating weekends and some evenings, September 2026 – September 2027)

Located within a secluded Shakespearian landscape, Ettington Park Hotel & Spa is a stunning Neo-Gothic venue set across 40 acres of parkland and woodland near Stratford-upon-Avon. As a Sales & Events Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering extraordinary stays—whether it’s weddings, intimate dining experiences, or milestone celebrations—where every detail reflects our commitment to service excellence.


The Role

As our Sales & Events Executive, you’ll be the bridge between imagination and reality, transforming guest visions into seamlessly executed events. Your contributions will directly enhance Ettington Park’s reputation for discreet luxury, hospitality finesse, and flawless attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, ensuring a consistent, personalised experience.
  • Manage all stages of events—from initial consultations to refined planning and trouble-free handover to operations.
  • Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and tailored recommendations.
  • Collaborate with reservations, marketing, and operations teams to enhance guest experiences.
  • Maintain awareness of trending events, market demand, and competitor offerings for sales growth.
  • Operate confidently within hotel systems, with Opera experience being an advantage.

Your Expertise & Passion

You’ll thrive as our Sales & Events Executive if you bring: ✔ Findings that mix sales acumen and an unwavering focus on service excellence in hospitality, ideally with luxury venues. ✔ Proven track record of converting enquiries into booked events and managing end-to-end client relationships. ✔ Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for staying ahead of deadlines and details. ✔ Clear, effective communication, both written and verbal, poised to engage a range of guests from busy planners to high-profile VIPs. ✔ Tech-savviness in using hotel software and a willingness to upskill (e.g., familiarity with Opera is beneficial).
