Sales & Marketing Assistant

Location: Sugar Studios – Film & Photography Studios, Greenwich, London (Hybrid)
Type: Part-time, Freelance (15 hours per week)

Role Overview

Sugar Studios is seeking a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic Part-time Sales & Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day sales and marketing functions. This individual will assist in supporting client enquiries, maintaining CRM systems, coordinating studio bookings, and assisting with marketing initiatives that drive awareness and revenue. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, enjoys building relationships, and is eager to develop practical experience in both sales and marketing within a fast-paced studio environment.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Sales & Events Support

  • Support Sales in administrative tasks, including calendar management, inbox organisation.
  • Assisting with incoming enquiries using HubSpot, including logging deals, updating client records and preparing follow-up communications.
  • Help to maintain and update HubSpot records, contact lists, deal stages and sales activity to support accurate reporting and monthly performance tracking.
  • Answer phones and assist with general studio enquiries, escalating booking, pricing and commercial discussions where required.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the studio shoot calendar, ensuring bookings, pencils and key client information are accurately recorded.
  • Support the management of event platform listings.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for in-house events, studio activations and client events.
  • Help coordinate client requirements with the Operations team, ensuring changes to schedules, arrival times and load-out requirements are communicated effectively.
  • Help to maintain and update prospect databases and contact lists within HubSpot.
  • Assist with research into prospective clients, industry contacts and partnership opportunities.

Marketing Support

  • Assist in the creation of social media content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Follow up with clients to request content from their shoot.
  • Help track content logs in OS system and support scheduling the content calendar.
  • Help draft and upload website content and blog posts, following SEO best practices.
  • Help oversee website performance and quality assurance with quick checks.
  • Support the research of partnerships with organisations and universities.
  • Assist in updating current brand assets and decks.

About You

  • Friendly, approachable, and professional
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality and studio environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and manage priorities independently in busy and quiet periods
  • Knowledge of HubSpot or CRM preferred
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Slack, Social Media
  • Study or internship experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Freelancer (this is not a PAYE position)

About Sugar Studios:

We're Sugar Studios, a versatile media production hub with four unique stages ready to bring your project to life. Featuring one of the largest infinity coves in London, we’re here to collaborate on every client’s vision. Originally a Tate & Lyle sugar factory on the Greenwich Peninsula, we debuted our first production stage for commercial use in 2018.

Since then, we’ve had our spaces filled with talent from cinematic films to brand campaigns to music videos, west-end theatre rehearsals, fashion shoots, industry panels, events and more. We’ve welcomed artists like Zara Larsson, Stormzy, Ellie Goulding, Tom Grennan, and Skepta. We’ve hosted weddings, boxing matches, Sofar Sounds events, and Ucom Carnival. Productions such as Tick, Tick...Boom!, Burlesque, and The Lion King have rehearsed in our space, and we’ve filled our studios with powerhouse brands like Amazon, Sainsburys, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Absolut, BMW, Adidas, Nando’s and more. We’ve even done crowd-holding for films & TV shows with 250 extras.
