WHO ARE WE?
The Lucky Goat is an independently owned hospitality business with big ambitions: to raise the bar for social gaming in London and make “going out” feel exciting again. We’re building a venue where quality comes first — in the way it looks, the way it runs, the drinks we pour, the food we serve, and the way people feel the moment they walk in.
We run like a football team. Everyone has a role, everyone has each other’s back, and we play for the same outcome: a brilliant guest experience, every time. We care about the details, we move fast, we stay calm under pressure, and we take pride in doing things properly. It’s a supportive, high-standards environment — the kind where good people grow quickly because they’re surrounded by other good people.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
