Are you a commercially driven, relationship-focused leader? Join us in shaping Park Inn by Radisson Aberdeen’s future performance as a hands-on commercial lead focused on business development, corporate relationships, and meetings & events growth. You’ll collaborate closely with the General Manager and hotel teams to maximize revenue opportunities while fostering local partnerships and long-term client relationships.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on proactive engagement, relationship-building, and visible impact on the hotel’s performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Driving New Business
Represent the hotel as its commercial face in the local market:
- Build strong relationships with businesses, agencies, and event organisers.
- Expand corporate, meetings & events, and group business.
- Actively network, host show rounds, and identify new opportunities.
- Cultivate partnerships that yield long-term value and revenue.

2. Owning Commercial Performance
Help define and drive the hotel’s commercial strategy:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Safeguard profitability and rate integrity.
- Analyze performance data to spot opportunities and risks.
- Align with the hotel’s broader commercial goals.
3. Leading Enquiry Conversion
Turn opportunities into confirmed revenue:
- Support high-value meetings & events enquiries.
- Improve conversion rates and upselling techniques.
- Develop commercially robust proposals and packages.
- Foster repeat business and client loyalty.
4. Collaborating Across the Hotel
Commercial success relies on cross-departmental synergy:
- Work closely with operations, reservations, and F&B teams.
- Embed a commercial mindset into daily hotel operations.
- Promote a culture of commercial awareness.
- Partner with external revenue and marketing experts.
Requirements
You will be:
- Currently working in hotel sales, commercial, or events and seeking broader responsibility.
- Proactive and commercially minded, able to identify opportunities.
- Experienced in relationship-building with businesses and clients.
- Confident in negotiation and influencing decisions.
- Thorough and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, adept at interpreting performance data.
- Personable and collaborative—preferring hands-on, engaging interactions.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year
