Founded by a First Class Oxford Engineering graduate and former Harrow School Maths and Computer Science Master, the organization delivers highly personalized support in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and related admissions tests. Services range from scholarship and entrance exam preparation to GCSE, IGCSE, A Level, IB tuition, and targeted support for Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and other competitive STEM university applications. Each program is tailored to the individual, with a strong emphasis on analytical thinking, mathematical maturity, intellectual curiosity and independent problem-solving. On the Hill Tutoring works closely with families, students and educational institutions seeking specialist guidance for high-stakes examinations and long-term academic development.
Role Description
The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, remote role, responsible for driving enrollment growth and brand visibility for On the Hill Tutoring. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from responding to inquiries and conducting consultations with families to converting leads into ongoing tutoring and mentoring engagements.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Maintaining digital channels
- Creating promotional materials
- Tracking the performance of outreach activities
The Specialist will nurture relationships with schools, educational partners and other stakeholders, while providing professional customer service and guidance to prospective clients. Collaboration with tutors and leadership to refine messaging, identify new opportunities and ensure consistent communication is a key part of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to explain complex educational offerings to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, handling inquiries professionally and supporting families through decision-making processes.
- Proven Sales skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation and closing, ideally within education or a service-based environment.
- Experience in Training and Sales Management, such as coaching team members, refining sales processes and contributing to structured outreach strategies.
- Background in marketing or business development, with experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation or events promoting educational services.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in sales and marketing.
- Interest in STEM education and familiarity with competitive school and university admissions processes is highly beneficial.
