Role Description
The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, responsible for driving brand awareness and client growth through offline marketing initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Identifying and contacting prospective clients
- Presenting Sage’s event and experiential marketing solutions
- Managing the sales pipeline from initial outreach to closing

The Specialist will support campaign planning, coordinate with the marketing and events teams, and ensure seamless execution of client activations. This role also involves:
- Delivering training and guidance to client-facing staff
- Monitoring campaign performance
- Providing regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders
The position requires consistent on-site collaboration, attendance at client meetings and events, and active participation in community engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Solid Sales capabilities, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, as well as experience working toward measurable revenue targets.
- Training and Sales Management skills, including coaching team members, supporting performance improvement, and coordinating sales activities.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple campaigns, events, and client requests simultaneously.
- A background in marketing, event management, or related fields, and experience in offline or experiential marketing, is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic CRM tools and reporting, along with a valid ability to work on-site in Birmingham, is preferred.
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, marketing, communications, or business is advantageous.
